Breeder Referral

Committee administers and distributes the PHCA Approved Breeders List. Breeders that are members in good standing with the PHCA should contact Mrs. Sacks for inclusion in the approved breeders list. You must adhere to the PHCA Code of Ethics in your breeding practices, permanently identify all puppies before they leave your home, and provide the rescue committee (Ms. Haig) with the identification numbers for each puppy you produce.

Breed Education

Development, approval, and scheduling of judges education seminars, ringside tutoring, and public breed education. Responsible for maintaining and updating of judge’s seminar materials. The PHCA has a very comprehensive education program in place. There is a detailed Illustrated Judge's Guide available upon request. If your club is planning an educational seminar in the future and would like to include the Pharaoh Hound, Mrs. Sacks can help locate a qualified spokesperson for the breed.

Health

Awards

Continually review new or different titles as we are made aware of them and make recommendations to the PHCA Board of Directors for their place (or not) in the PHCA award qualifications. Responsible for gathering award data from the membership and preparing the awards to be distributed at the annual PHCA Awards Banquet.

Evaluate new item opportunities and present ideas to the PHCA Board of Directors for approval. Maintain inventory for items currently available from the PHCA Ways & Means. Sell, sell, sell to everyone you meet! Transfer sales dollars to the PHCA treasurer and report sales income to the PHCA Board of Directors.
