Pharaoh Hounds Looking for Forever Homes

PHCA regularly places Pharaoh Hounds that are new to our Rescue program into foster homes for evaluation.  Sometimes a Pharaoh Hound is ready to go to their new forever home almost immediately, and sometimes they need some tender loving care and training before they are ready to be placed.

One of our wonderful foster families reports that two Pharaohs they have been fostering are ready to join new families!  Please see the photos and foster reports below.

NEMO    &    Cydnee (adopted!!)

Nemo! - Male

Nemo was born June 2004 so he is five and a half years old. He is very active and loves toys. He loves to pull out the stuffing and the squeaker but luckily, he still likes to play with the remaining skin. He also likes to play tug-o-war with you. He’s friendly with people and although we’ve only had him a short time, he seems good with girl dogs but maybe best in a household with no other males. He was neutered recently so his attitude with other males may improve. He’s a great eater and could still stand to gain another few pounds. He is good in a crate or kennel run but needs a bit more work to be fully housebroken. Nemo is up to date on all shots and is heartworm negative. If you're interested or need more information please contact Sheila Hoffman at galadrialpharaohs@bigriver.net.

Cydnee! - Female

We are very happy to report that Cydnee has been successfully adopted by a loving family of four in Tennessee.  Cydnee has settled in and is very happy with her new family!
