There is no end to the list of activities available to the Pharaoh Hound owner.

In addition to the "traditional" competitions in the Sighthound world, the recent past has found the Pharaoh Hound entering into some new areas of activities ... and, as usual, they are excelling.  A few of the fun and exciting sports include conformation, lure coursing, agility, obedience, tracking, and racing events.

The Pharaoh Hound just plain loves to have a good time!  Whether it be playing frisbee, jogging with his owner or taking a long walk on the beach ... the Pharaoh Hound is always ready, willing and able to join in the fun.

Because of their gentle nature, there are a number of Pharaoh Hounds who have received certification to perform therapy work in hospitals and nursing homes.

There is at least one with an official tracking title and in the past there was one who was the lead dog on a dog sledding team!
